Tein is definately the "strong man" of the group. He is the second tallest Z-Fighter. His life
long buddy is Chaiotzu, and his "woman" is Launch. Tein is one of my favorite characters on DBZ. He is courageous, thoughtful,
and strong-willed. He, like many others, appears in Dragaonball as Goku's rival. Tein was trained by Master Roshi's rival,
Crane Elder. (These old guys have cool names; Crane Elder, Turtle Hermit.) Anywho, When Tein faces Goku in the 22nd Tenkaichi
Budoukai, Tein and Goku were even. Their powerlevels were both exactly 180. Their match eventually ended in a tie. After that
Goku and Tein became best buds. Tein helps Goku many times in the fight with King Piccolo. Skipping ahead a little...when
Tein fought against Nappa he lost his life in an awesome explosion of power. When Tein went down, he let Nappa know about
it. His last energy blast cost him his life, but sadly Nappa countered it just in time. Luckly for Tein, he got to train with
King Kai in the afterlife. This increased his power a great deal. Tein's next big scuffle, and maybe his most famous, was
when he used all of his energy to delay Cell from absorbing Android 18. Tein's mighty Tri-Beams were just enough to keep the
monster at bay until Androids 16 and 18 could escape. Tein doesn't make an appearence until the later episodes of the Buu
saga. He appears just in time to rescue Piccolo and Gotenks. He feels pretty confident about his new powers, but of course
they are still no match for Buu. Tein even survives the Buu ordeal. He later appears in Dragonball GT for who some reason.
I don't think he fights any. The scar on his chest was a result of a match during the 22nd Tenkaichi Budoukai. He fought the
part android General Tao. In desperation, Tao slipped a knife from his mechanical hand in hopes of defeating Tein with it.
Tein was scared with it, but Tein pulled away with the win though. One fact for you, Tein will do anything in defense of his
little friend, Chaiotzu.
